Sdr-list.xyz v4.0.0 is live + Phasor Labs launch

Hey all,

Two big updates:

  • sdr-list.xyz v4.0.0 is now live
  • We’ve moved development to a new org: Phasor Labs

Phasor Labs

Phasor Labs is a new open-source engineering group focused on:

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Software Defined Radio (SDR)
  • WebSDR systems
  • High-performance backends and real-time pipelines

Philosophy:

  • Fully open-source
  • No black boxes
  • Performance-first engineering

Current projects:

  • NovaSDR
  • PhantomSDR-Plus
  • sdr-list

sdr-list.xyz v4.0.0

This is a full rebuild of the site with a new backend, new frontend, and overall architecture.
It should be significantly more reliable than v3.

What’s new for listeners

  • Receiver cards now show city/country, full frequency range, bandwidth, and user capacity bar
  • Live map next to the list. Hover a card and it pans to that receiver
  • Receivers are now probe-checked before showing up, so everything listed is actually reachable
  • Sort by users, last seen, name, or frequency
  • Dark mode (follows system preference, toggle in header)
  • API docs at sdr-list

What’s new for operators

  • Set receiver_id to a stable string and your station keeps its identity across restarts and IP changes
  • Send range_start_hz and range_end_hz and the full frequency range shows on your card
  • Nothing else changes. Existing payloads and the old endpoint (/api/update_websdr) still work

Tested with NovaSDR, OpenWebRX, KiwiSDR, WebSDR, PhantomSDR.
If anything breaks for you let me know here.
